Tasting Notes
Lifted aromas of dark berries and sweet spice draw you in, with notes of cherry, black plum, raspberry and blackberry layered alongside hints of milk chocolate, coffee and cracked pepper. As the wine opens, the fruit softens to reveal more savoury nuances of sweet earth, mountain herbs and a flicker of rose petal, adding intrigue and depth. The palate is generous yet easy-going, driven by juicy dark and red fruits with a supple, approachable tannin profile that keeps everything flowing smoothly. Bright acidity brings lift and freshness, while subtle bitter-edged notes of Campari and cocoa linger through the finish. Vibrant, comforting and quietly complex, this is a crowd-pleasing red made for relaxed moments, good food and even better company.
Earthy. Structured. Complex.
Surreptitious in style, this blend offers earthy, meaty depth that resonates with hearty robust dishes.

Shiraz - fermentation in small open fermenters with run off into stainless to complete the fermentation keeping the fruit bright and pure.
Pinot Noir - whole bunches and berry fermentation in small open fermenters and ceramic eggs with then 6 months in big old oak, and a touch of new oak.
