Pinot Gris - whole bunch pressed to stainless steel where the juice is given extended contact with solids for 10 days prior to ferment. Juice is then racked to ceramic eggs to undergo cool and slow ferment.
Gewürztraminer - whole bunch pressed to big old French oak puncheons to ferment and then mature with full solids for a few months.
Riesling - natural ferment in tank with low juice solids at a cool cellar temperature.
A blend of Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Riesling, this vivacious summertime white flits between varietal nuances and pure, crisp drinkability. Pinot Gris lends its classic pear and spice aromatics, Gewürztraminer supplies hints of rose and white pepper notes as well as texture on the palate, while Riesling imparts citrus zest and a bright mouth-watering acidity. Pineapple, peach, nectarine and citrus fill the palate while lively acidity drives on to a dry finish. All these flavours, aromas, and textures converge in this wine building complexity yet ultimately resulting in a cohesive and delicious whole.
