Grenache - fruit from dry grown old vines are handpicked and then whole bunch pressed to stainless steel where the juice is given extended contact with solids for 10 days prior to ferment to build texture. Juice is then racked to big old French oak puncheons to undergo cool and slow ferment.
Pinot Gris - harvested in the cool of night and then crushed to ceramic egg, where the wine stayed in contact with skins for 2 weeks extracting pink blush colour and vibrant rose water aromatics.
A treasure trove of summertime delights, the nose dazzles with notes of sea spray, fresh berries, sweet spice, and coy floral aromas. A blend of two grape varieties, Grenache supplies rich flavours of white strawberry, Rainier cherry, and golden raspberry with undertones of allspice and hibiscus, while Pinot Gris introduces freshness and vibrancy with a twist of lemon peel, soft pear essence, and subtle white blossoms. The palate is silky with a mandarin-like acidity leading into a dry, refreshing finish reminiscent of red apple skins and pomegranate.
